Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Impact Tech, a sole proprietorship registered in Mumbai, India that owns and operates Weaver ("Weaver", "we", "us"). They apply when you use our website at theweaverapp.com and demos.theweaverapp.com (the "Site") and the Weaver software service, including its web app, mobile app, and messaging integrations (the "Service"). By using the Site or the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. Who these terms apply to

The Service is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old to use it.

2. Accounts

3. The Service

Weaver lets a Customer run a business app built to its own workflow: records, tasks, approvals, dashboards, automations and notifications, used through the web, a mobile app, or messaging platforms. While a Customer's subscription is active and these terms are followed, we give that Customer and its users a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for the Customer's internal business purposes.

Some features may be marked as beta or preview. They are offered as they are, may change or be withdrawn, and should not be relied on for critical work.

4. Your content

"Customer Content" is whatever a Customer's team puts into its Weaver app: records, notes, attachments, comments, voice notes, and messages sent to or from the app.

We do not sell Customer Content, and we do not use it to train AI models.

5. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not let anyone else:

6. AI features

The Service includes AI features such as answering questions about your data in plain language, turning voice notes into record updates, drafting messages and running automations.

7. Integrations and third-party services

The Service can work with platforms that we do not control, such as WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, email providers, and any other system a Customer connects.

Weaver AI for Microsoft Teams

The Weaver AI app for Microsoft Teams delivers notifications from a Customer's Weaver app to its users in Teams, for example when a record needs approval. It sends messages only; it does not read your Teams chats, channels or files. To deliver a message we store the Teams identifier of each user the Customer chooses to notify. You need a Weaver account in a Customer's app to receive anything from it, and you can remove the app from Teams at any time.

8. Fees and payment

9. Our intellectual property

We own the Service, the Site, the Weaver name and logo, and all software, designs and documentation behind them. These terms give you a right to use the Service, not ownership of any part of it. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

10. Confidentiality

Each of us may receive information from the other that is not public. The party receiving it will use it only for the purposes of this agreement, protect it with reasonable care, and not disclose it to anyone except staff and service providers who need it and are bound to keep it confidential. This does not apply to information that is already public, was already known to the receiving party, or must be disclosed by law.

11. Availability and changes

12. Suspension and termination

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, such as those on fees owed, intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability and governing law, continue to apply.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, the Site and the Service are provided "as is" and "as available". We give no warranties beyond those stated in these terms, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, or that the Service will meet every requirement of your business. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

15. Indemnity

The Customer will cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from a third-party claim caused by its Customer Content or by its breach of section 5 (Acceptable use). We will tell the Customer promptly about any such claim and let it take part in the defence.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, after the parties have first tried in good faith to resolve it by talking to each other for at least 30 days.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date, and for material changes we will notify Customers by email or inside the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new terms.
